I was close. That's why I never thought I'd be the one to build.
I've been in the world of web services since the late 1990s, when the internet first went mainstream. Through years at Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, I watched some of the world's most extraordinary engineers turn ideas into real, global services. That's the experience I carried.
The wall I knew too well
And that's exactly why I knew, painfully well, how hard it really is to develop a service or product. The breadth of technical knowledge required. The enormous cost. The long timelines. Only organizations equipped with all three got to be "the people who build." I was not on the coding side myself. So the ideas in my head stayed in my head.

The rapid maturation of generative AI changed that fundamentally. Someone with years of accumulated judgment in this field, paired with AI as a real collaborator, can now ship a real service or product to the world with their own hands. In my case: I had been conceiving roboticker.AI — an AI-powered stock analysis platform — since 2024. But in February 2026, I saw a bookstore shelf stacked with AI how-to books, and it struck me: "Even someone like me, who's already proficient with AI, would benefit from a platform where using AI is simpler, more intuitive, more fun." That need — "simpler, more fun" — spotted by someone already fluent in AI. That's robotica.chat. So I shelved roboticker.AI development temporarily. From concept to spec, implementation, and web launch — just 3 months. Then iOS app release just 1 month later. This is the proof of a new development paradigm: experienced professionals + AI.
The journey of building robotica.chat
In 2024, I was developing roboticker.AI while building products with generative AI as my collaborator. Through trial, error, and learning, in February 2026, I encountered a bookstore shelf stacked with AI how-to books. It was a moment of clarity: "Even someone like me, fluent in AI, would benefit from a place to explore AI more intuitively, more enjoyably." That insight — "simpler, more intuitive, more fun" — from someone already proficient in AI. That's where robotica.chat was born. I paused roboticker.AI development. From concept in February to spec, implementation, and web launch: just 3 months. Then, iOS app release just 1 month later. One person plus AI can ship a real service. The process itself is the proof.

Following robotica.chat, we plan to launch roboticker.AI — an AI-powered stock analysis platform covering 6,000+ U.S. stocks — in September 2026. The paradigm we proved with robotica.chat — experienced professionals + AI — now extends to finance. The vision of building seven pillars with one person plus AI begins in earnest.
